Accessibility statement
How we handle the information you give us through this website.
Our target
This website is built to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which is the standard referenced by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Accessibility is part of the build, not a retrofit.
What we collect
- Semantic HTML structure with a single h1 per page and no skipped heading levels.
- A skip link to the main content, and named landmark regions.
- Text and background contrast meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element; focus is never suppressed.
- Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu, the FAQ accordions, and the readiness assessment.
- Form fields with visible labels, inline error messages placed beside the field, and status messages announced to assistive technology.
- Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels with adequate spacing.
- Full respect for prefers-reduced-motion: all motion is disabled when the operating system requests it.
- No information conveyed by colour alone — status is always paired with a text label.
- Content and layout usable at 320 pixels wide and at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
- Image placeholders on the insights pages will need descriptive alternative text when the real images are supplied.
- Third-party content, such as an embedded scheduling widget, is subject to that vendor's own accessibility conformance once it is connected.
Assessment approach
This site was evaluated by manual review against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria, including keyboard-only navigation and contrast checks. A formal third-party audit and an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR / VPAT) have not been completed; see PLACEHOLDERS.md.
